The author started this Bible puzzle book when he was banged up abroad in 2007 in a Chinese jail and prison for a year. He resorted to Bible puzzles to keep his faith and sanity alive, as very few Christian literature was allowed. In the midst of a severe spiritual drought and famine, he resorted to and embarked on an extensive hunger strike and protest, before he was allowed one Bible and some Christian literature (some magazines and two mini books) from Kenneth Copeland Ministries, and a Bible correspondence course with the Hong Kong Causeway Baptist Church. This book has been a challenging project for over 15 years due to its peculiar arrangement before its final completion in late 2022.
